Parameter-Based CVV Prompt for Google Pay

Before the Update

Previously, CVV configurations in the Edit Parameter section of the iPOSpays portal were not used when processing Google Pay transactions. Even if CVV was set to mandatory and the customer entered their CVV, the data was not sent to the processor.

What’s Changed?

With this update, Google Pay transactions now adhere to CVV parameter settings, ensuring proper CVV handling based on configuration.

Key Enhancements

• If CVV is set to mandatory, the payment page will:

  • Prompt for CVV during Google Pay transactions
  • Send the entered CVV to the processor

• If CVV is not enabled, the payment page will:

  • Not prompt for CVV
  • Not send CVV data to the processor

• Supported Transactions:

  • HPP (Hosted Payment Page)
  • WooCommerce
  • Freedom to Design
  • Send Payment Link

Exception: This update does not apply to GHPP (Generic Hosted Payment Page) transactions.
