Apple Tap to Pay V2 Upgrade

iPOSpays has upgraded the Apple Tap to Pay integration from Version 1 (V1) to Version 2 (V2) to align with Apple’s latest proximity payment requirements.

This enhancement ensures uninterrupted Tap to Pay on iPhone transactions after Apple’s V1 API deprecation scheduled for June 2026.

Why This Update Was Required

Apple is retiring the existing V1 translation APIs used for Tap to Pay on iPhone transactions. To maintain compatibility and prevent transaction interruptions, iPOSpays now supports the latest V2 API endpoints and encryption standards.

These updates improve platform compatibility, transaction reliability, and future readiness for Apple Tap to Pay processing.
